Advice for Letterers (and would-be)

dwlogo

Recently I’ve received a few emails from readers of this blog who want advice about getting started in digital lettering at the small press level. I’m not really a good resource for this, as I’ve not lettered in that arena, but I do know a good place to get those sorts of questions answered, as well as lots of other lettering advice and info. It’s the lettering forum, called LETTERING SHOWCASE, on the DigitalWebbing.com site. There you’ll find letterers hanging out and swapping information and stories, from old pros like Tom Orzechowski and Clem Robins, to digital lettering pros like Nate Piekos of Blambot, to newbies like yourself, if that fits your description.

Advice is worth what you pay for it, some say, but a good source of information is always handy.
