And Then I Read: GREEN LANTERN 47

As with last issue, the most interesting part of this book for me is the interaction between Hal Jordan, Sinestro and Star Sapphire, and here, some old acquaintances. The Green Lantern Jordan replaced, Abin Sur, is back as a Black Lantern, with predictable nastiness. The best thing about his appearance is the stream of black skulls shooting out of his power ring. Sinestro has an encounter with another Black Lantern who was Abin Sur’s sister, filling in a poignant bit of his background. The other lantern stories briefly covered in this book don’t interest me much, but the main story is one I’m enjoying. Recommended.
