And Then I Read: LEGION OF 3 WORLDS 4, BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL 28

I’m grouping these for two reasons. First, both have superb art and good writing. Second, I’ve reviewed earlier issues of both arcs: BC L3W L3W3 and don’t have a lot to add to what I wrote there. It’s a bit surprising that two of my favorite pencillers in the 1980s: George Pérez and Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez are still at the top of their game nearly 30 years later, but here they are, supported by equally fine inkers, colorists and letterers. The writing on both series is quite good, though the Legion series suffers from too many characters…but that’s the kind of story it is. Even though I didn’t get everything, I didn’t mind. I got enough to enjoy the story. Both are highly recommended.

Wait…is this an advance copy of _Lo3W_, or did it come out and I just somehow missed it?

I’ve had it a while, so I doubt it’s an advance copy, but I got it as a complementary copy from DC.
