I was also happy to see the 2009 Locus Awards, given by Locus magazine (covering science fiction/fantasy books and news) gave the Coraline graphic novel (P. Craig Russell adapting the book by Neil Gaiman) the award for best Art Book. Kind of an odd category for it, but recognition is always nice, and I really liked this version of Neil’s story, which I lettered.
