…the Phillies have Struck Out. Ah well, wait till next year. I’m actually kind of glad I won’t have to stay up late to watch them struggle again tonight, this recent series with the SF Giants has been long, late and tortuous.

The second post-season no-hitter in baseball history? Way to start off the Phillies’ post-season! Go Phillies!

This should be a fun series to watch. Both ballparks are hitters’ parks, and both teams can knock them out, but I have to give the Phillies’ Ryan Howard the edge, he’s been so hot in the post season. Of course the cool weather could be a factor, and if that snowday in Colorado during the playoffs wasn’t a wake-up call to MLB to shorten the season, what do they need? Baseball in November is just silly. But I’ll be watching anyway! Go Phillies!

I’ve been watching them all year, and they’ve played great. National League Championship begins tonight in L.A. against the Dodgers. Can they go all the way again? I think so.
